Fairphone’s goal is to make products that last as long as possible, to reduce the environmental footprint created by the manufacturing process.
So we offer an extension on the standard 2-year warranty, increasing it to up to 5 years total warranty. All you need to do is register your Fairphone. It’s free and it doesn’t matter where or how you purchased the phone originally, even if you received it as a gift. We only require that you have the original receipt or proof of purchase.
The total Extended Warranty period depends on when you purchased your Fairphone. Once you have registered your smartphone, you will receive an email confirming a precise expiration date. This is based on the standard warranty plus an extension.
