At Fairphone, our goal has always been to build a tough, repairable and long-lasting phone. From the materials we use to the modular design, longevity is at the very heart of all our design decisions.

This December, we partnered up with a bike company with a difference. Roetz is an Amsterdam based company who shares our vision of repair, reuse and recycling. Each year, roughly one million bikes are thrown away; even though essential parts, like the frame, are just fine. By re-working parts and materials that are too good to be thrown away, Roetz gives them a second life.
