    Child Labor Innovation Challenge

    ABN AMRO International Human Rights Conference

    This December Fairphone is glad to participate the International Human Right Conference at ABN AMBRO Headquarters in Amsterdam. One of the main missions of the conference is to make the audience aware of the human rights issues and to be aware of the possibilities every individual has by making choices that stand for human rights. At the International Human Rights Conference, you will listen to the Keynote speakers Kate Gillmore, the dept High Commissioner for Human Rights and actress and writer Emma Thompsen (TBC) from the Helen Bamber Foundation.     Environmental Prize Symposium

    On Saturday 28 October 2017 the German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt, DBU) will hold a scientific symposium in Braunschweig from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the subject of resource efficiency. The priority of the event is reflected in the award of the 2016 Environmental Prize, in which Fairphone CEO Bas van Abel was honored together with Walter Feeß and Professor Angelika Mettke as pioneers in the area of resource efficiency. During this year’s symposium the subject of resource efficiency would be discussed in its many facets together with the 2016 Prizewinners, scientists and public officials. Visit website
