An expedition with a green vision

Spanning 2,100 kilometers, 120 days and 6 pairs of very tired feet, the Eneloop expedition is a community-powered challenge to raise awareness (and money!) for environmental issues. Three teams will depart from their hometowns on the 23 of June with the goal of reaching Milan by 20 October.

Three teams compete to support their favorite cause

Equipped with Fairphones, a drone, strong legs and basic survival skills, three teams of two will hike across Europe as part of a competition to raise money for a charity of their choice. Along the way, they’ll earn points by completing challenges related to sustainability and environmental awareness. The winning team gets to donate €21,000 to their selected charity.

Meet the teams

Team Red: Michał and Paweł are two Polish friends who are determined to go the distance for Amnesty International. Team Purple: Danish twins Anders and Kasper are walking to support the Student Society for Environmental Protection (Sorex), an Estonian NGO. Team Yellow: Lithuanian couple Romas and Simona are hiking for Čepkeliai-Dzūkija National/PAN Park, an NGO working to protect the forest where they first met.
