A great phone with longevity due it's easy repairability
I bought a Fairphone 6 after my Pixel 6A battery issues - expensive replacement needed for a phone that is otherwise not repairable. My previous 3 phones also had issues after just 2 years - loose USB connections, issues with charging etc. I'm fed up of buying expensive phones that don't last and replacing them with expensive phones that don't really offer anything more.
I'm really happy with the Fairphone 6. It is a good mid-market phone; it's got good specs and is a great replacement for my old phone. It does everything I want at a good price. But the best thing about it is the reassurance that if something breaks, I can replace the component rather than have to buy a whole new phone; I hope to keep this phone going for a good few years. I'm fed up with having paid for pricey phones for them to break after 2 years (or just 18 m with the Pixel 6A).
Strongly recommend this phone. Other phones are a waste of money as they're low quality, designed to fail and difficult to repair - all to get you to buy another phone in 2 years. I don't need a £1000 phone - this £450 phone has a good CPU, plenty of RAM, a good display and good camera - no issue with any of my apps at all. I'm done with wasting money on phones that don't last and can't be repaired easily. A+ for the Fairphone 6.
And extra bonuses - It's European! AND it supports and open OS instead of Android if you want true independence. I'm sticking with Android for now but I appreciate the choice.
